Welcome to
Queen's Head, Boreham
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful traditional pub! We have a beautiful garden with plenty of shade and BBQs & live events throughout the summer.
This year our Beer Festival is starting early at 5pm Friday 28th August and running through to Bank Holiday Monday 31st August! Please see below for our lists of performers, ales & food.
We serve fabulous food alongside a cracking range of drinks including frequently rotated guest ales. Our infamous grazing boards are back 7 days a week, and we now have freshly made sandwiches, including hot salt beef. Our summer menu with our famous ribs and themed seasonal specials is available from Thursday lunchtime until Sunday 6pm to delight you.
Whether you fancy a pint of real ale or lager and a game of darts, or perhaps one of our freshly made cocktails or bottle of Provence overlooking the tranquillity of the church in the evening sun in our beautiful garden, we would love to see.
Perhaps join us for our regular Friday night Happy Hour 6-8pm, or maybe you fancy a table at our quiz night on the last Wednesday of every month.
Hospitality is at our core and we continue to honour the warm, welcoming community-focussed pub in the heart of Boreham we are known to be. We’re a great pub that serves great food! We’re also pleased to say that we are very dog friendly (including ice creams!) and have a designated family area in the garden.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we’ve been shown since the day we came here. It means the world to us.
As our motto says, “There’s no strangers here, just friends we haven’t had a drink with yet.”
See you soon!

EXCELLENT Based on 292 reviews Posted on Google Michelle MarquisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took a walk from Chancellor park across to the Queen's Head for a bite to eat and a drink and were pleasantly surprised. The pub has a new owner, new staff and a new chief. We choose the sharing roast dinner and went for the brisket beef and chicken, as you can see there was plenty of food and it was absolutely delicious. The owner Bridget and the waitress Kirsty, we're both friendly and chatty. They are planning plenty of events and it felt like a really happy, friendly, welcoming place. We'll be back. Excellent little pub great staffPosted on Google Nicci FinchamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a hidden little gem!!! The food here was outstanding. We had Sunday lunch. Everything tasted fresh and of great quality. The starters were very tasty. I had the Beef brisket for main. It was beautifully slow cooked and tender. Great amount of veg and a well executed Yorkshire pudding. I couldn’t resist the banana split on the desert menu - I wasn’t disappointed, it was amazing and very nostalgic. Our lovely server was also outstanding. Very attentive and helpful. Overall - extremely impressive!Posted on Google Kerry WeidnerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend - we chose the Queens Head to celebrate a 40th birthday with a family meal. From start to finish all the staff were incredible, they were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure the whole party had everything they needed! All 16 of us had a great meal - a real highlight were the ribs. We will definitely be back soon for one of their upcoming events.Posted on Google C Bailey & Sons ChrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
