We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful traditional pub! We have a beautiful garden to catch the final rays of Autumn sunshine and an open fire inside for those chiller evenings!

We serve fabulous food alongside a cracking range of drinks including frequently rotated guest ales. Our infamous grazing boards are are back 7 days a week, and our £15 for 2-course lunches every Thursday-Saturday changes weekly.

If you’re feeling hungry, our Autumn menu features homemade pies with weekly seasonal specials running alongside and our traditional Sunday roast with sizzling potatoes roasted in beef dripping and a gravy that takes us 3 days to make, perhaps tempts you?

Whether you fancy a pint of real ale and a game of darts, or perhaps one of our freshly made cocktails or bottle of red, with a board game by the cosy fire, we would love to see.

Perhaps join us for our regular Friday night Happy Hour 6-8pm, or maybe you fancy a table at our quiz night on the last Wednesday of every month.

Hospitality is at our core and we continue to honour the warm, welcoming community-focussed pub in the heart of Boreham we are known to be. We’re a great pub that serves great food! We’re also pleased to say that we are very dog friendly (including ice creams!) and families.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we’ve been shown since the day we came here. It means the world to us.

We’re passionate about great food and drink — think “Pub Classics, Cooked With Love.”

Everything is made from scratch using seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients wherever possible. Our ales rotate weekly, our wine list is packed with favourites, and our cocktails are freshly hand-mixed to order.

Our kitchen is open Thursday to Sunday, serving our full menu, plus seasonal specials from Thursday to Saturday and traditional roasts every Sunday. Check our blackboard or socials for updates.

Inside and outside areas are available for private hire, ideal for birthdays, baby showers, wakes, and special occasions, with flexible buffet options tailored to you. We can also provide bespoke decorations to really enhance your event.

Kids & Dogs Are Welcome

Families are dogs are warmly welcomed, but due to our size unfortunately we cannot have dogs in the restaurant any more. You are of course very welcome to come and eat and drink in the rest of the pub

We’ve just had a Sunday roast at the Queen’s Head in Boreham, and honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had food this good. Everything was absolutely amazing — the quality, the taste, and especially the portions. They were incredibly generous, and we definitely didn’t leave hungry!
The service was just as lovely as the food. Everyone running the place was genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and Kirsty, who looked after us, was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our visit and really made us feel looked after.
Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and the people are genuinely lovely. We almost didn’t want to leave a review because we’d quite happily keep this little gem to ourselves! 😂

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So you go out for Sunday Roast, you know what to expect and based on a previous experience, you choose the venue. Thing is that on this occasion the sharer two meat board, is served and is up a notch on your last good experience. Kirsty is attentive and a nice front of house server.

On this occasion we chose the Lamb and Chicken. I have attached a picture, so the rest of the review speaks for itself.
